Rita Ora Debuts Simple Finger Tattoo of a Black Arrow

Less than one week after revealing the ballerina tattoo on her arm and feather tat on her hand, Rita Ora went under the needle yet again – this time getting a small black arrow tattoo inked on the middle finger of her right hand. Rita Ora’s tattoo features a simple black arrow with a feathered fletching at the back, and was first spotted in Instagram pictures posted by Rita, television host Emily Rose (who also works for Adidas), and tattoo artist Rafael Valdez, who is responsible for the arrow ink. In the pics, you can see that Rita’s finger tattoo is actually a matching tat she got with gal pal Emily Rose, and, according to Emily’s caption, is apparently the third matching tattoo the girls have together!

Rita Ora is obviously a very popular gal, and she keeps frequent company with some of our favorite celebrities, including British supermodel Cara Delevingne, who has racked up a rather impressive collection of tattoos herself over the past year. Rita and Cara have gone under the needle together several times already – including the session that resulted in Cara’s “Pandora” arm tattoo and Rita’s “Rosetto” ribcage tattoo – but as far as we know, the two women have yet to get matching tats. Emily Rose, however, obviously plays an important role in Rita Ora’s life, judging by their matching arrow tattoos.

An arrow is an extremely popular tattoo design these days, especially for women, and a number of pop stars and models have opted for arrow tattoos recently, including Ireland Baldwin and Miley Cyrus. In fact, the design and meaning of Rita Ora’s tattoo, according to Emily Rose, is almost identical to Miley’s tattoo of two crossed arrows: “Two meanings to our new ink,” Emily captioned the tattoo pic on Instagram, “1-two arrows crossing is a symbol of friendship, 2-an arrow can be shot only by pulling it backwards. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch you into something great #preach @ritaora and I’s third matching tattoo. Thank you @rafael_valdez as always the king.”

Rita Ora has been struggling recently with her very public split from boyfriend Calvin Harris, and while she says she will always “treasure the memories” from their relationship, she has to be pretty devastated by the break-up, especially since she said in the past that Calvin was her first true love. After being spotted out with a series of different women over the past few weeks, Calvin took to Twitter last week to finally put the rumors to rest, writing: “To address speculation – myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.” Hopefully Rita can find some peace with the help of her cool new arrow tattoo!
