Tattoos dedicated to loved ones are becoming more and more popular these days, but it takes a certain kind of person to get a tribute to a favorite pop star or celebrity permanently emblazoned on their body, especially one they’ve never met. We hold a special place in our hearts for these people, so we have compiled a list of some of the most epic tribute tattoos of our favorite pop stars, compliments of the die-hard fans who had them inked and were brave enough to post them online.

Carl McCoid’s Latest Miley Cyrus Portrait Tat

rihanna misspelled fan tattooWhen it comes to the most epic Miley Cyrus tattoos, look no further than die-hard British fan Carl McCoid…he’s got more than 20 of them. His collection of Miley-inspired tattoos is so mesmerizing, it’s hard to choose just one of them to feature, but we’re going to go with his most recent. The portrait tattoo, which takes up Carl’s entire right side, is inked in black and white and portrays the latest look in Miley’s ongoing transformation. In the side tattoo, the pop star sports cropped blonde locks combed over to one side and her signature tongue sticking out of the side of her mouth. Mr. McCoid seems intent on covering his body in tattoos dedicated to Miley Cyrus, so we’re sure he’ll outdo himself next time.

Misspelled “Riahnna” Tattoo on Guy’s Chest

It must be heartbreaking to commit to a gigantic tattoo of your favorite pop star’s name, only to find out afterward that it’s horribly misspelled. This guy decided to get a large Rihanna tattoo inked in the middle of his chest with a red bow tie above it, but, sadly, the tattoo artist spelled the Bajan singer’s name “Riahnna” instead of “Rihanna.” Plenty of people had a good laugh about the misspelled Rihanna tattoo, and RiRi herself even responded to the Instagram pic of the fan tattoo, writing: “Oh nooo.” A few people tried to defend the fan, saying maybe it was meant as a tribute to a girl whose name is actually spelled “Riahnna,” but it turns out the guy was drunk when he got inked and he plans to have the name fixed.

Dude With a Chris Brown Thigh Tattoo

chris-brown-fan-tattooThis guy was apparently following in the footsteps of the grown man who has a Justin Bieber tattoo on his leg when he got Chris Brown’s face inked in the middle of his thigh. Back in April 2012, Chris Brown tweeted a picture of this portrait tattoo, writing: “Omg! One of my male fans got this tatted! Teambreezyaustralia.” The Breezy fan, who is apparently from Australia, had a black and white Chris Brown tattoo inked VERY high up on his left thigh – like, right below his hip, high. Except for the fact that the upper thigh is an extremely awkward spot for a dude to get another dude’s face inked, the Breezy portrait tat isn’t half bad.

Guy’s Portrait Tattoo of One Direction’s Zayn Malik

There are plenty of teenage girls out there who are zayn malik fan tattooobsessed enough with One Direction to get tribute tattoos dedicated to the boy band, but it’s not often you see a male fan with an epic 1D tattoo. This guy skipped over the boring “1D” and bandmember signature tattoos and went straight for gold – a portrait of One Direction singer Zayn Malik. That’s right, this guy has a pretty large black and white picture of Zayn’s face inked near his right collarbone, reaching from his chest up to his neck and shoulder. This fan was probably pretty disappointed when Zayn got his own portrait tattoo and opted for a tribute to his girlfriend, Perrie Edwards, instead of returning the favor.

Woman’s Forehead Tattoo of Drake’s Name

Yes, we’ve covered this Drake tattoo before, Drake fan forehead tattoobut there’s no way we can leave this insane tattoo off the list of epic fan tats. This woman, who sports a shaved head and eyebrows, voluntarily had the name “Drake” inked in huge block letters across her forehead back in 2011, and the backlash has lasted years. Even singer Drake was pissed when he found out about the die-hard fan tattoo, threatening to “f*** up” the tattoo artist responsible for the ink. As for the dedicated fan, Drake said, “That’s cool. I feel you 100%. That to me is absolutely incredible. It was love.” Epic.
