Brad Pitt Shows Off Never-Before-Seen Arm Tattoo Inspired by His Family
By | On July 20, 2015

Brad Pitt has become quite the family man, and the actor showed his wife and kids some love last week, with a never-before-seen tattoo on the outside of his forearm honoring Angelina Jolie and their six children. Brad debuted the new ink during a family trip to Toys “R” Us in Glendale, California, and the arm tattoo features a cross or split cell chart that has the letter “A” on one side and “MPZSVK” on the other. The “A” in Brad Pitt’s tattoo obviously stands for his wife, Angelina, and the other letters are an acronym for their six kids: Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 7.

According to an article published online by People, the tattoo on Brad Pitt’s right forearm isn’t new, but this marks the first time the actor has put the ink on display in public. It also nicely complements the tattoo Angelina Jolie has on her upper left arm, which features the coordinates of the locations of where Brad and all their children were born. Brad and Angie obviously love their children, three of whom are adopted and three of whom are their biological children, and we love seeing these permanent reminders of how important family is to them. Speaking of which, word on the street is, Brad and Angelina have decided to add another child to their growing brood – a boy from Syria – which means the power couple may have to add to both of their tattoos soon!

Brad Pitt’s split cell cross tattoo may be his sweetest ink so far, but it certainly isn’t his first. The Fury star already rocks a tattoo of his birthday in Khmer, a sketch Angelina drew, an image of Otzi the Iceman mummy and more, including a tattoo on his bicep that features a variation of a part of a Rumi poem, reading “There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong. I will meet you there.” Some reports indicate that Brad Pitt has had this split cell chart tattoo on his forearm since way back in 2013, but this is the first clear glimpse we’ve ever gotten of the family-inspired ink. What do you all think of Brad Pitt’s cross forearm tattoo??
