Kelly Osbourne Begins the Painful Process of Removing Her Tattoos

We’ve seen the infamous Kelly Osbourne completely transform her look and life during the past year, and the inked-up singer/actress is continuing the incredible transformation by having some of herl tattoos removed. More than three years ago, Kelly made the decision to put the majority of her fifteen tattoos on the chopping block, and the 29-year-old began the painful laser treatment process on November 5, 2013. Prior to going under the laser, Kelly tweeted to her more than three million followers, writing: “Not looking forward to this afternoon…It’s going to burn like the snap of 1000 rubber bands!” Ouch!

The total tattoo removal process will supposedly take several months, although the length of time depends on the number of tats Kelly actually decides to get removed. Hopefully she isn’t in so much pain after the first session that she gives up on the rest! Among the tattoos Kelly Osbourne has chosen to give the boot is the large, colorful keyboard tat inked on the outside of her right forearm. According to the actress, “I was miserable and I just went and got all these tattoos and I don’t know why. One of them is a keyboard and I don’t even know how to play a piano!” Makes sense then, that the keyboard tat would be the first to go.

Kelly Osbourne posted a video of her first laser treatment on Instagram this week, writing, “I did the crime I am now doing the time! #NoPainNoGain!” The 29-year-old’s tattoo collection – which includes two skull and crossbones tats on the tops of her feet, a large “Daddy” tattoo with a locket and key, and a French tattoo on her back that reads “I love my mommy” with two pink wings – is pretty extensive, so you’re probably wondering why she has finally decided to lose some of the ink. “As you get older, you realize that you don’t want to be defined by your tattoos,” Kelly revealed during a 2009 British talk show interview. “That’s not the type of person that I am.” That may be so, but we’ve all gotten so used to Kelly Osbourne’s tattoos, it’s going to be awfully weird to see her without them!

I did the crime I am now doing the time! #NoPainNoGain! ?
