One Direction’s Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne were spotted leaving a Los Angeles tattoo parlor on August 10, a sighting that has sparked rumors that the British boybanders may have opted for matching tattoos. Since most of the 1D boys already sport matching screw tattoos that they say keep them “grounded,” we wouldn’t be surprised if the singers decided to get another matching design inked on their bodies to celebrate their lasting bromance. The last time Liam, Zayn and Louis hit up a tattoo parlor together it was in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and both Zayn and Louis left the shop with new tattoos – a huge cartoonish picture of girlfriend Perrie Edwards on Zayn’s arm and an infinity rope tat on Louis’ wrist. Who knows what these boys have gotten inked this time!
Fans Update Us on One Direction’s Tattoos
News of the boys’ trip to the L.A. tattoo parlor came thanks to some eagle-eyed fans who scoped out the studio and then reported the sighting on Twitter. “Looks like Liam’s gonna be in there a while. They haven’t started on him but his sister was looking through some tattoo books so hint hint,” wrote one fan, while another added, “Louis is currently getting his tattoo done he just took his shirt off for it (via insider @DiosMioKara).” Louis just added the infinity rope wrist tattoo to his collection in June, so he’s definitely due for some new ink right about now. Liam actually refrained from getting inked during the Maryland trip, going for a stroll around the neighborhood while Zayn and Louis got their tattoos, so we’re excited to find out whether or not he opted for a tattoo this time.
1D’s New Tattoos Remain a Mystery!
Louis Tomlinson was accompanied by his long-time girlfriend Eleanor Calder and a group of friends and family members, as the tattoo trip turned into what appeared to be a family outing. We’re not entirely sure yet where on their bodies Liam, Zayn and Louis may have gotten inked, although Louis reportedly had to remove his shirt to go under the needle. Zayn made a quick escape from the crew of paparazzi and fans outside the tattoo shop, jetting out to his waiting car before anyone could catch a glimpse of his potential new tattoo. And until they reveal their new ink to the public, no one but the boys and the tattoo artist will know what images the 1D boys got inked with, because the whole tattoo parlor was reportedly shut down to accommodate the One Direction boys, with Liam spotted leaving the studio at 4:30 am!
