It’s been almost two months since Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the actress’ Beverly Hills home on January 5, and the Good Charlotte rocker has opted for a more permanent way to show his love for his new wife – a gigantic chest tattoo. In an Instagram selfie posted by Benji Madden on February 23, the singer revealed a brand-new tattoo inked across the top of his chest that reads “Cameron” in a black script font with elegant scroll detailing. Benji adorably captioned the tattoo pic, “Thinking bout you #LuckyMan.”

It has been a whirlwind romance for Benji and Cameron since they first made it official, and the couple’s January wedding, which was attended by Benji’s identical twin brother Joel, his wife Nicole Richie, and close pals Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon, followed less than a year of dating. In a statement issued to People magazine after they said “I do,” the couple said, “We couldn’t be happier to begin our journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends.”

In addition to his guitar skills and vocal chops, which are on display in The Madden Brothers and the band Good Charlotte, which he co-founded with his brother Joel, Benji Madden is best known for his extensive collection of ink. Let’s just say that Benji Madden’s new tattoo of his wife’s name is in good company, sharing space with an image of a heart and vines on his chest, a wolf head on the top of his foot, and a huge tattoo of Benjamin Franklin that covers his entire back. Because, why not?

Late last year, rumors starting spreading around suggesting that Cameron Diaz wasn’t a huge fan of Benji Madden’s tattoos and wanted him to get some of his ink removed. Now that Benji has revealed a new chest tattoo of Cameron’s name though, we have a feeling she’ll be a little more lax on the tattoo front. As for Benji’s fans, they were divided over the singer’s choice of new ink, commenting on the photo, “That’s KOD (Kiss of Death) right there. NEVER get it tattooed,” and “Love it! She’s one lucky woman.” We’ll just have to wait and see how this one turns out!
