Miley Cyrus Celebrates Holiday Season with New Marijuana Leaf Tattoo

The holiday season is finally upon us, and Miley Cyrus is celebrating in the best way she knows how, by getting a new tattoo! The inked-up pop star took to Instagram on December 20 to debut a brand-new design on the inside of her left ankle – a tiny marijuana leaf inked above the smiley face tattoo her assistant Cheyne Thomas gave her in 2014. It’s no secret that Miley Cyrus is a fan of smoking pot, and now she has a permanent reminder of her favorite pastime inked on her leg.

Miley Cyrus has been flooding her Instagram account with weed-related photos and captions for the past week or so, including selfies of the singer wearing festive sweatshirts that say “smoke weed every Christmas,” and “the tree isn’t the only thing getting lit this year.” Apparently, she didn’t think a series of sweatshirts got the message across though, because she decided to get a very permanent reminder of her love for pot, in the form of a marijuana leaf tattoo.

There’s no question that Miley Cyrus loves the holiday season, especially since this year she gets to celebrate with longtime love and fiancé (again) Liam Hemsworth, who fit right in with the Cyrus clan in a family photo Miley’s sister Brandi posted on Instagram. And while most people celebrate Christmas by decorating a tree, singing carols and exchanging gifts with loved ones, getting her 50th tattoo – a cannabis-themed piece, no less – fits right in with the way we imagine the pop star prefers to spend the holiday.

It seems that Miley Cyrus is enjoying her newfound freedom, now that the latest season of The Voice has wrapped, and while it’s been quite a few months since the 24-year-old debuted a new tattoo, a “WA” heart piece on her arm she had done over the summer, we are hoping she may find herself back in the tattoo chair before too long. What do you all think of Miley’s marijuana leaf tattoo?
