Rihanna has two tattoos located on her sides, which are also two of the most discrete body tattoos Rihanna has. Despite their small size however, both of Rihanna’s side tattoos make big statements. RiRi’s first side tattoo was inked on her left ribcage just below her breast, and reads “Al-Hurria fi Al-Maseeh,” which is Arabic for “Freedom in God.” Her second side tat is a small handgun inked across her ribcage and just below her armpit, on the right side of her body. RiRi’s side tattoos have garnered quite a bit of public attention, both good and bad – one, because some believe Rihanna’s Arabic tattoo is spelled wrong, and two, because the pop star’s gun tattoo was inked in the midst of the abuse rumors involving the superstar and former boyfriend, Chris Brown, who also has a tattoo that used to match Rihanna’s stars tattoo on her neck, until she added more stars to run down her back.
