As if it wasn’t random enough that Miley Cyrus revealed a “Rolling $tone” tattoo inked on the bottoms of her feet last week, but now Vanilla Ice has paid tribute to the pop star with a (fake) tattoo reading “MILEY CYRU$” on the bottoms of his feet. The old-school rapper and reality star took to Twitter on September 25 to show off his fresh ink, including the caption, “WORD TO YOUR MOTHER! LMAO!” along with a pic of the bottoms of his feet. We’re not100% entirely sure if Vanilla Ice’s tattoo is fake, but judging by the crude sharpie-looking writing used in the faux tat, we’re going to guess that it’s not the real deal…or so we hope.
Miley Cyrus’ tattoos on her feet were inked to celebrate her first cover on Rolling Stone magazine, and in the October 8 issue, the singer inexplicably cites Vanilla Ice as a cautionary tale when describing where Justin Bieber’s career might be headed. “He’s trying really hard,” Miley said about the Biebs. “People don’t take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing. I just don’t want to see him f-ck that up, to where people think he’s Vanilla Ice.” Ouch, Miley! But wait, she continued: “I tell him that. Like, ‘You don’t want to become a joke. When you go out, don’t start shit. Don’t come in shirtless.’ But the thing is, I think boys are, like, seven years behind. So in his head, he’s really, like, 12.” It might just be us, but is Miley Cyrus really a person who should be giving advice to other people on how to act appropriately and not be thought of as a joke??
Miley’s twerk-tastic performance with Robin Thicke at the VMA’s and the fact that always seems to be naked, sticking out her tongue or licking something (in the Rolling Stones mag cover, Miley is licking her own naked shoulder) has made her somewhat of a joke as well these days. Maybe Miley should lay off Ice and Bieber and take her own advice!
